Christmas Celebrations 2021

Christmas Celebrations 2021

It is a holiday to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, who, according to the Christian religion, is the son of God. The name is a joining of “Christ” and “mass” which means the holy mass (supper, celebration or festival) of Christ. Christmas is important to many Christians because it reminds them that: Jesus, the Son of God, came to Earth for all people, symbolized through the visits of the wise men and the shepherds. Mary and Joseph both had a strong faith in God, despite the difficulties they faced. Christmas is celebrated all over the world each year to show their gratitude to God for what he did, to remember the birth of Jesus Christ by giving gifts, worshipping him and thinking of the poor and less fortunate.
